Sorry guys, she is officially off the market.
The 29-year-old actress was excited to tell fellow guests at the dinner at Martha Stewart’s East Hampton estate two days ago, that she and Romain Dauriac, 32, are about to marry in no more than four weeks.
In case you haven’t yet heard of the guy, and chances are you haven’t, Romain Dauriac is a French journalist. He was the editor of the French magazine “Clark,” which covers the art of the urban France. Since leaving the magazine, he became a manager at a creative advertising agency. On Sept. 4, 2013, Romain announced his engagement to Scarlett Johansson.
The couple was present at the dinner alongside Howard Stern and his wife Beth Ostrosky, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters, Rachel Zoe and Harvey Weinstein. The occasion was marked by opening of a $400 bottle ‘Dom Pérignon’ champagne.
The venue is still a secret, however, some speculate the couple will officially tie the knot in, either Romain’s hometown Paris, or in the Hamptons, where they have been spending most of their time lately.
“I don’t plan anything. I’m terrible at planning. Yeah, I’m not gonna plan anything – I like to wing it!” said Scarlett, who was previously married to Hollywood’s Ryan Reynolds.
The actress thinks it is better to be with someone who is not from the public world.
“It is easier to be with someone who isn’t famous, but it’s more than that. We do different things. Romain’s in the whole art-scene world. So it’s nice, because we can enjoy each other’s worlds, but we don’t have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with.”
As for the details on the wedding itself, let’s just hope that spontaneous Scarlett will inform us on time. Stay tuned for the details.
