The 46-year-old pop star got very emotional as she described her relationship with the late INXS star Michael Hutchence. Kylie broke down in tears as she opened up about her two year relationship with the famous rock star. “I had so many firsts with him.”

The pair began dating in the late 1980s, but Michael left her for supermodel Helena Christensen and in a short video aired on Sunday, she admitted she’s still not over him. “I’ve never met anyone like him. It’s a mixture… a mixture of emotions and memories. It was a great love and true heartbreak.”

This isn’t the first time Aussie pop legend has opened up about their love.

Earlier this year the singer admitted Michael is responsible for so many of her life experiences.

“Let’s just say I was 21 and my eyes were open to the world. You want to experience everything and I couldn’t think of a better person to, you know, take those first steps into the big wide world with,” the Voice couch stated in the video.

After the break-up, the two remained close friends until the INXS star committed suicide at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Sydney, Australia, in 1997, while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

“I remember thinking that at the time, that of course this was the first funeral and the first kind of thing like that because Michael was just so many firsts in my life … He was. Yes, he was.”

As the video unravels she frequently looks down avoiding the eye contact and in the end she rests her delicate finger below her lip letting the old emotions take over. 17 years have passed since Michael’s death and she still speaks of him like it was just yesterday that they were together. True love indeed never stops.
