George Clooney And Amal Alamuddin Wedding – Date Is Officially Set

August 8, 2014

Ok, Ladies, so here’s the deal. Make sure you mark September the 20th on your calendars as The International Mourning Day as we officially say goodbye to the ultimate bachelor, George Clooney.

Clooney and his human rights lawyer/fiancée, Amal Alamuddin, will be tying the knot in Venice during a weekend of festivities in late September.

So, Italy is going to be the host to two of the most high-profile weddings of the year, with the first of course being the legendary wedding of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian back in May, which happened in Florence.

In a recent report it was stated that Clooney has rented an entire island for the small affair.

The details on the Amal’s wedding gown are still kept secret; however, there are rumors that the 37-year-old bride ”is believed to be considering designers, including Oscar de la Renta”.

When it comes to Clooney’s wardrobe choice for the big day, the details are already available. Namely, an entire team from Giorgio Armani recently flew from the designer’s base in Milan all the way to Clooney’s home on Lake Como in order to fit him and his groomsmen with suits for the wedding.

Amal and George have registered for their marriage license after a successful application was lodged in London.

How did they meet?

The couple first met at a charity event where Amal actually refused to take his phone number. Clooney then sent her an e-mail saying ”the hottest man in the world should meet with the hottest human rights lawyer in the world’. She replied a few days later and the rest was history.

Perseverance does pay off.
